CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY & MECHANISM OF ACTION
Testosterone Cypionate binds directly to intracellular androgen receptors in target tissues, inducing positive nitrogen balance and enhancing muscle protein synthesis. By promoting cell growth and tissue repair, Bioniche Pharma Testosterone Cypionate supports the maintenance of bone density, skeletal muscle mass, erythropoiesis, and secondary male sexual characteristics. Endogenous testosterone release is regulated via feedback loops with pituitary luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
INDICATIONS & CLINICAL USE
Indicated for primary androgen replacement therapy in adult males experiencing symptomatic deficiency or complete absence of endogenous testosterone:
- Primary Hypogonadism (Congenital or Acquired): Testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral testicular torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome, or orchidectomy.
- Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism (Congenital or Acquired): Idiopathic gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or hypothalamic-pituitary damage secondary to trauma, tumors, or radiation therapy.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Male patients with known or suspected carcinoma of the prostate gland or male breast carcinoma.
- Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or nursing, due to severe risks of fetal masculinization and endocrine disruption.
- Patients with severe underlying cardiac, renal, or hepatic disease.
- Known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to Testosterone Cypionate, carrier oils, or inactive components in Bioniche Pharma formulations.
PRECAUTIONS & PATIENT MONITORS
- Cardiovascular & Fluid Balance: Retention of sodium, chloride, potassium, water, calcium, and inorganic phosphates may lead to peripheral edema and hypertension. Caution is required in patients prone to fluid retention.
- Endocrine & Hepatic Surveillance: Baseline and routine clinical monitoring should include liver function tests (AST/ALT/bilirubin), serum lipid panels (HDL/LDL), hemoglobin/hematocrit, and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in male patients over 40.
- Adverse Reporting Instruction: Patients must promptly inform their attending physician if they observe persistent nausea, skin discoloration, ankle edema, or overly frequent or sustained erections.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
- Endocrine & Reproductive: Gynecomastia, oligospermia at higher dosages, priapism (excessive frequency or duration of penile erections), altered testicular size, and libido fluctuations.
- Dermatological & Androgenic: Acne vulgaris, seborrhea, hirsutism, and acceleration of androgenetic alopecia (male-pattern baldness).
- Gastrointestinal & Hepatic: Mild nausea, cholestatic jaundice, transient alterations in liver function tests, and in rare instances, peliosis hepatis or hepatocellular neoplasms.
- Central Nervous System & Systemic: Cephalalgia, anxiety, mood shifts, depression, generalized paresthesia, hypersensitivity reactions, and localized inflammation or pain at the intramuscular injection site.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Bioniche Pharma Testosterone Cypionate is for deep intramuscular injection only. Dosing protocols must be individualized according to clinical diagnosis, patient age, therapeutic response, and the presence of adverse events:
- Standard Administration: Suggested therapeutic dosages typically range between 200 mg and 600 mg administered every 7 to 10 days under strict medical supervision.
