INDICATIONS & CLINICAL USE
Indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in male hypogonadal disorders caused by primary or secondary androgen deficiency:
- Primary hypogonadism following orchidectomy, bilateral testicular torsion, or castration.
- Eunuchoidism and congenital or acquired testicular failure.
- Hypopituitarism and pituitary-hypothalamic dysfunction.
- Secondary osteoporosis associated with male hypogonadism and androgen deficiency.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Male patients with known or suspected carcinoma of the prostate gland or male breast cancer.
- Female patients, pregnant women, and nursing mothers due to high risks of severe fetal virilization and endocrine disruption.

WARNINGS & SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
- Cardiovascular Supervision: Middle-aged and elderly male patients with existing angina pectoris, prior coronary artery disease, or severe circulatory disorders must receive androgen replacement therapy under strict clinical supervision.
- Fluid & Electrolyte Balance: Androgens induce renal conservation of sodium, potassium, chloride, and water. Careful monitoring is required in patients with a history of latent or overt cardiac failure, hypertension, renal impairment, epilepsy, or migraine headaches.
- Pediatric Caution: Use with extreme caution in prepubescent boys to prevent precocious sexual development and premature epiphyseal plate closure, which can cause permanent growth stunting.
- Laboratory Interference: Transient decreases in protein-bound iodine (PBI) levels may occur during therapy without clinical significance.
